American Idol Season 6 Hollywood Episode 2 The Top 24

Last night the final 40 made the long slow elevator ride and walk across the ballroom floor to sit in that little chair and hear the news from Randy, Paula and Simon. This is their last chance do they get a thumbs up or thumbs down. It was another evening of joy and tears although many of the contestants took it pretty well everything considered but we had the many who broke down under the pressure of the big fat no.

There were a few surprises for me but I think over all except for the inclusion of Sundance I believe the judges have made the appropriate choices.

Next week begin the elimination rounds to whittle it down to the Top 12. Let your fingers do the dialing, I am going to dial all night long or at least the two hours we normally get!
American Idol will be moving to three nights per week for the next few weeks until we are down to the Top 12.
Next week the men sing on Tuesday 8:00 p.m. (2 hour show) and the women sing on Wednesday 8:00 (2 hours) and then the elimination show on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. (1 hour).
