AI 7 - The Top 12 Revealed - 3/6/08

Last night the final 12 were revealed, one of who will be our Next American Idol.

The show started out with a performance by Blake Lewis. I loved the performance. I have his CD and I liked this song. I enjoyed that Chris Sligh was in his band.

They really dragged out the results show with too many clips and the comments of the judges.

I am happy about the top 12 except for Amanda and Chikeze but I can't have everything.

I was also back to 3 out of 4 predictions correct as to who was eliminated. Luke Menard, Kady Malloy, Danny Noreiga, and Asia'h Epperson.

Now the fun begins, we will have a new set, I am sure a few surprises and next week the Top 12 will be handling the songs of Lennon/McCartney, a catalog rich with great music. I can only hope the contestants have learned how important song selection really is.

I will guess that unless Amanda is really going to try something different she will go with Hey Darling or Helter Skelter so she can stay in her one trick pony routine!

I can only hope that Amanda and Chikeze are kicked off first because it is only the Top Ten who get to go on the concert tour but I suppose nothing can be as bad as he who should not be named from last year!
