AI 9 3-24-10 And now there are 10

The votes are in for results night. This is AMERICAN IDOL!

The editors of the video montages must laugh themselves silly with all the drama they try to create. The beginning epic montage was kind of cool – Mortal Kombat INDEED!

The group number of “Wake Me up before you Go-Go” was hard to watch and listen to. These contestants are unable to lip sync to themselves. How lame is that? The choreography was uninspiring as well.

The Ford commercial sucked the big one last night as well. If I were Ford, I would ask for my money back on that one!

Cue the lights and let us discover who will be in the bottom three. During the first announcements, we have both Paige and Tim heading to the hard uncomfortable seats to wait for their fate.

Oh, it is Miley Cyrus here to plug her new movie and sing “When I Look at You” from the soundtrack. Color me surprised – NOT! I am surprised she can play the piano but let us talk about how horrible her performance was. The opening note was off and poor Miley hit quite a few bum notes. Let us all say it together IT WAS PITCHY! I feel better about letting Miley know how she did and she is lucky she did not have to face the judges because they would have torn that performance to pieces.

Time to fill out the bottom three and it is Katie but it appears Andrew’s fan base is waning because he almost made it to the bottom three. America surprised me once again. Katie gets a reprieve returning to the comfortable couches.

Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato will be performing “Make a Wave”. Why are they here? I do not think they can hear themselves or the music. The performance was choppy and their bum notes were painful. We must now all say it again IT WAS PITCHY! I hope you feel better because I certainly do. The song sucked right along with the so-called professionals.

Time for the results Tim is safe and Paige is heading home unless she can lip-sync for her life. Oh wait, sorry that line is from RuPaul’s Drag Race. Well it does not matter because Simon just cuts to the chase telling Paige the judges are unanimous they are not going to use their one and only save for her.

Next week’s theme is R&B with mentor Usher. I am so excited – NOT!

Paige sings us out with “All Right Now” and after that performance I would not have saved her either.

Until next week…
